Sensor doggy door?

DH swears there is something (a doggy door) we can put on our screen door that will only unlock when our dog is next to it. I told him with our luck our dog will be lying next to it and an animal will be on the otherside and be able to just walk right in. Do you have a doggy door on your screen door? Does it open by sensor?

I saw that on the Dog Whisperer. You have to attach a sensor onto your dog's collar (or the sensor comes on a collar) and the door only unlocks when the dog attempts to go through the door.
