I am 10 lbs down since seriously starting my low carb diet (I've been at it about 2 months) and I have lost all of the weight I gained while doing my dissertation. I gained the weight Jan/Feb 2010 and it's taken me this long to get it all off. I am sooo happy! Now going forward I'm actually making progress towards my final goal weight (a weight I have not been in adult life)!

that is great! I just started to TRY and lose weight after so many times of being unsuccessful. I'm hoping this time does the trick.

I totally know how you feel. For me, the key thing was to make sure I didn't go off track on weekends and late in the day when I get hungry. Once I did that, I started to see progress.
