tonight at shea, i think i may have cheated, but i honestly don't think it was that bad
i walked this morning for 30 mins in the heat
i drank 3 liters of water today.
I had a light breakfast (small bowl of cereal and OJ)
I had a light lunch (small baloney sandwich with low sodium baloney and a couple of SnackWells)
so we get to shea and the choices were terrible. I usually bring my own food in, but there was no time, so I was at the mercy of the stadium food.
I had chicken fingers and fries with a diet soda. I know that sounds bad, but honestly, it was a very small portion. And considering I was good all day, this couldn't have been that bad, could it??
When I got home, I had a WW ice cream cone.
What do you guys think -- overkill?

I think you are doing GREAT! The way I always think about it is - you can't start with an extreme...so think of it as easing your way into it...one meal didn't destroy a great diet day!

see, the way i see it, i don't deny myself stuff. If I know I am going out and am craving a certain thing, I eat light so I can enjoy whatever it is I want.

You can eat what you want but smaller portions are the key. Also, whenever possible buy fat free or light food products.
Definitely drink at least 6-8 glasses of water and eat veggies & fruit.

You can't control things all of the time and I think your choices were good and healthy. I think the 30 minute walk you did in the heat was well deserving of a little slurge for the night!

Excellent - Keep up the good work. I gotta get back into walking. I actually walked for about 15 minutes yesterday around the parking lot at my job...It was too hot and I didnt want to be all sweaty in the office.,....
I gotta start walking 3 miles again like I was doing 2 months ago....
