So excited!
Today I am going to go and watch my first Fitness/Figure Competition. My trainer suggested I go and watch and then decide if I am actually going to do this! I need to decide and commit to it one way or the other! I hope it's fun!

It was so neat to see the shape these women are in! So freakin cool!
I decided that I think I am going to go for it! I am looking into finding shows that are in the spring, summer or early fall. My nutritionist/trainer said that he thinks thats a perfectly reasonable time frame for wher I am at now. WHo knows! I am petrified!

It was great...I actually had a friend competing and she took first place in her category which was cool to see! She actually doesn't look too far off from me so I think I would compete in the same category she did.
My trainer/nutritionist and I talked about it and I'm going to go for it. Right now we are going to try to slowly increase my food intake and maintain this wait since the competition wont be for a while and I am only 2 lbs from where he thinks I should be for this show. I am nervous that it is going to make me gain weight back but I also know that he is an expert at this and I need to follow directions and put my trust in him.
I got new workouts this past week that I am digging into and am really excited about this new journey! I hope it helps me to develop some damn confidence because I am sick of being so uncomfortable in my own skin!

Try not to worry about gaining weight. This sounds like the beginning of and exciting journey...try to enjoy it! I think this will really help you to gain confidence.

Definitely trying to enjoy this as a journey. My weight is up slightly but within my "normal range" so I am trying not to panic too much! (It sure is nice to eat a bit more food! lol)
