so annoyed

I applied for a position through a recuiter on the internet 3 weeks ago.. I had to go through hoops to complete the application (physical/fingerprint clearance) and other things I had to do for the position. I kept updating the recruiter how far I was along w/ the application yet I still did not meet w/ him or the acutal place as to where the position was available. He kept telling me "I have to call my contact with the position" or "I haven't heard anything yet" yada yada. Finally yesterday I emailed him that everything was completed he said great I will contact the contact person from the job and get things rolling. Today I got an email from the recruiter "Sorry the school no longer is using our services the position is not available".. So I called him since he figured an email would be suffice and gave him a piece of my mind. I think the job was b.s. and I think he was b.s. also!!

On top of that it's not like I have other possiblities at this time... Going on 4 months of being unemployed I'm going to go freaking crazy!!!!

First off, I am sorry this happened to you.

Secondly, I would be extremely skeptical of someone like this, especially not having met them or anything.

You never know what they could be doing with your personal info.

I don't want to stress you out more, but it doesn't sound like he is a legit operation to be perfectly honest.

I am sure there are lots of predators out there because they know how awful the job market is and people are desperate for work.
