Period interval after IUD?
I had an IUD inserted in May. My periods are now only about 3 weeks apart. It's getting a little ridiculous. Anyone else have this issue? It's the paraguard, so I don't expect that they will go away (like the Mirena).

I have a Paraguard IUD for the past four years and it has not changed the length of my cycle. I generally have a shorter cycle (<28 days) but my OB/GYN has told me if my cycle is 21 days or less I need to come in and have some blood work done. I would give your doctor a call.

I had to have the paraguard removed after 1. It moved out of place and 2. I got an infection from it. My periods were 2 weeks apart. See the doctor.
