If you did the OLD WWs, and now are doing the new WW....

which one did you prefer and which one do you feel worked better for you?

I prefer to the new plan. I feel that it promotes healthier eating habits. I like that it factors in protein and carbs.

I can't really compare which one I did better on because I was in a different place during both times. I lost 60lbs on the old plan, however the new plan helped me keep it off!

I like new plan. I am now eating more fruit and veggies and its helped me loose weight.

This is me too. I felt like with the old plan if I had the choice between a 100 cal pack of cookies and a banana I was choosing the cookies.

Now I feel like I eat a lot more fruits and veggies when I have the choice.

Agree 100%. I never wanted to "waste" points on fruit. Sweets always won. Now I love my fruit!

I think that I lost more rapidly on the old program.

However, I feel that the new program is more livable and with the free fruit options I feel it is easier to stick with for the long-term...

I lost about 110lbs on the old program (in a year) and lost about another 45 in the following 7 months on the new program. Now I am "paused" since I am PG, but can't wait to go back and keep losing!

I’ve been doing the new plan since June. I have to say I like it- it’s easy to stick to and I don’t feel hungry during the day, and I love the option of grabbing a piece of fruit if I’m hungry and not having to worry about points.

Having said that, I have serious doubts as to whether the new plan is viable for me, whether I’ll be able to lose all of the weight I want to on it. I have lost 8lbs since June. Half of that was the first week. So I have essentially been averaging about 1lb per month. On the old plan, I averaged about 1lb per week. Granted, I was 10 years younger at the time, and I had a lot more weight to lose than I do now. But still.

It is progress, which is why I’ve been sticking with it, but its beyond frustrating. I'm told that I need to eat all of my points in order to lose, which I do, but I feel like 29 points is just too much for me.

26 lbs..two sizes. 16 lbs to goal. I've never gotten this close.
