How do you all deal with Negative Nellies (and Neds) at work all day long?

While I have complained about my job on occasion (and some things rightfully so), I can't take the constant gloom and doom of certain co-workers day in and day out.

We are ALL stressed and we are ALL busy.

I just think when people complain about it all day, it turns an environment toxic.

I have been taking a lot of inventory as of late, and TBH, I think about 95% of the things I hear people complain about with "our agency" are not really "our agency" related, but just work-related and you'd feel these things anywhere.

Something else I have noticed, is a lot of staff, who often do not have any clue of another person's job title or responsibiliities, will blame them for stuff when things go wrong with their role.

It's like the "grass is greener" syndrome too and it's petty and immature.

We are experiencing some turnover as of late, and I am really keeping my spirits up that we will get some fresh new blood in that will turn the attitudes around. (*hint hint those looking*)

Thoughts?

I often will work outside of the office so I don't have to hear it.

People on my team do the same.

I am sure we are talked about though by the office staff who don't have this "perk".

I know it's rough out there, but I am starting to feel with some people, you need to either $hit or get off the pot. Work is work and it really could be MUCH worse. ALWAYS.
