Re: Hyperhidrosis
I have this as well. I swear by Drysol (hypercare is the generic form). I'm actually waiting for insurance to approve Botox, but I'm scared to go through with it.
I have to double up on the Drysol and use Degree Clinical on top of it. It definitely got worse after I had my son 2 years ago. It's annoying

Re: Hyperhidrosis
is drysol almost like an alcohol smelling liquid. is it something your dr had to prescribe?...i have the problem on my hands and feet...it doesnt smell but it sucks to shake peoples hand and i cant wear certain sandles which sucks....i have had it since i was in grade school ..i went fo rthe consultation for the botox and saw a video on it the dr said i would have to have about 50-75 shots in each hand and more in each foot and would only last about 6 months ..my ins would cover it cause it would be considered a medical condition cause it interferes with my everyday life....only cause it was on my hands but i am just so scared to do it.

Re: Hyperhidrosis
I used to work in a plastic surgeon's office, and we had a lot of people get the botox done for this reason. It hurt, but not horrendous, they said. And all people were thrilled with results and said they would continue to do it.

Re: Hyperhidrosis
I've dealt with this as well--though it seems to have slowed down since I turned 30. I swear by Certain Dri. You can buy it over the counter.

Re: Hyperhidrosis
I have this problem with my armpits. It could be the dead of winter and I am somehow still sweating through my clothes.
I use Drysol (I don't use it when I am pregnant) If you put it on at night, it should work overnight and you shouldn't have that alcohol smell in the morning. Also, after you take it for a few days, you shouldn't need to use it everyday.
When I started it, I had to use it everyday for about 2 weeks until I noticed results., then I only had to use it maybe once a week and eventually once a month.
