Sensory gyms in Nassau County
Does anyone know of a sensory gym in Nassau County? DS's OT recommended one today for him. We are moving to Wantagh next month and she is afraid he won't get a decent therapist.. His fine motor skills are fine. He has sensory issues with his hands.. She said a sensory gym may be better for him. He loves motion...

I do not think Dove does EI or CPSE cases, I believe they bill through insurance ? Perhaps I am wrong.
If you want an amazing OT, I know one in Plainview at All About Kids. He is truly outstanding. They just renovated their gym there. If you could fit this into your schedule, it would more than worth the commute.
Kidz Therapy has a sensory gym -Garden City. I can try to find who is a top OT there.

DD uses the sensory gym with her OT at Kidz Therapy. I know they wanted her to have a sensory gym and I think at the CPSE meeting they said there weren't many in Nassau - I think they mentioned St Mary's as another one - but I don't know anything about them b.c DD got right into Kidz Therapy so I never had to look around (our district sets up the services not the parent).
