Suffolk County School Districts
If anyone has information regarding any suffolk county school districts and their special needs programs, I would greatly appreciate it.
We are looking to move, and are somewhat flexible but we are looking for a great neighborhood (community feel) and a school district that is supportive, with low class size and great programs.
Feel free to Fm me if there are districts I should steer clear of.
Any information regarding the Rocky Point School District, would be great as well.
Thanks

I worked in Lindenhurst and agree. They have a fantastic program. Half Hollow Hills and Bay Shore also have great programs.

Stay clear of East Moriches, itty witty and they have no clue what special needs is. It's really sad :( Also the further you go out on the south shore the more clueless the districts seem to be. I've heard great things about Connetquot's special needs programs. My son goes to a charter school now but ages out in 6th grade, I'll probably seek an out of district program then.
