It is my pleasure to introduce.....
....my new kitten!!
He's approximately 7 months old....and he was adopted from Little Shelter in Huntington. They were wonderful and I would totally recommend them for anyone looking to adopt a pet. They were so thorough with checking our references, and so helpful....just a great place!
We don't have a name for him yet....just brought him home today and there's a 4 year old involved in the naming, so it might be difficult.
It's down to Atticus, Boo, or Dill (the cat we already have is Scout, so I'm trying to keep with the To Kill a Mockingbird theme)

Or you could go with the Demi Moore/Bruce Willis theme and name him Rumer ... or Tallulah

Awwww adorable!!! I love the To Kill a Mockingbird names, one of my fave books! I like Boo, but I may be biased, my friends have a cat named Boo.

AJ...For Atticus Jem, keeping with the "Mockingbird" theme.
And this kitten is the sweetest kitten that has ever existed. Seriously. All that he wants in this world is to be held and to have someone pet him. It's amazing.

When are you introducing Scout?
We were told to wait about 10 days...by both the shelter and the vet. So about a week.
They did meet briefly when Scout broke into the bathroom where the kitten is staying....it wasn't pretty. But, Scout is usually terrified of other animals, so I was thrilled that she was brave enough to approach the kitten.
