3rd miscarriage
I am currently going through my 3 rd miscarriage. My first was before I had my daughter, second in June and now having another one. I am just so sad!!!
My first one I had a d and c, second was a chemical and not too bad- just one day of heavy bleeding and cramping then like a regular period. This one I am 8 weeks and it's started on it's own-what should I expect?
My dr is sending me to a specialist. Anyone been to one for recurrent miscarriage?

I'm so sorry for your loss. I've had 2 m/c but they both ended with D&Cs so I'm not sure what to expect with a natural miscarriage.
I have been to a fertility specialist for recurrent miscarriages. Your dr will run a few blood tests to make sure everything is normal and will probably schedule a sonogram to make sure your uterus looks good and your tubes are clear. Good luck!

I am so sorry for your loss.
I just miscarried naturally and for me it started out as spotting then it came down a little more and then one day I just started bleeding very heavy and passing clots with heavy cramping. After a couple of days of that it got lighter until it just stopped. I went to the dr. and they did a sono on me and she said everything had come out. (Sorry so TMI)
I'm so sorry you are going through this and I know how you are feeling.

Thank you all for your thoughts and kind words. I met with my dr today and we decided to schedule a D and C for Tuesday if it doesn't happen on its own. He also gave me the name of a high risk dr who specializes in recurrent miscarriages. I spoke to them already and they are sending out paperwork and scripts for bloodwork and some other tests, this way that all tests will be done before I meet with the dr and we will have a plan.
I'm very sad but hoping that this will be over with soon so that I can move on.

First off I want to send you lots of I am truly sorry for your loss
I miscarried naturally at about 7 weeks. It started off as spotting then got pretty heavy relatively quickly. A few hours passed and I started to pass clots and a small grayish marble sized ball (this was the baby) I did have cramping but it wasnt until a couple of days later that I had the most horrible cramping in the world. I went to the bathroom and passed this 1-2 inch strecthy kind of thing...after that the cramping went away...I bled for an additional 5 days and that was it. Sorry for the TMI...
