Teachers of Juniors/Seniors, don't you just LOVE..
when students ask you for recommendation letters on October 24th, when the deadline is October 25th?

Nothing makes me crazier than this. NOTHING. I might be tempted to say no, but I can picture the look of panic all too well and know I wouldn't be able to. Ugh. I'm sorry.

So far my students have been good about giving me 2 weeks notice. My school has a pretty established policy that if you do not get it in within the time frame, you are out of luck so it really encourages everyone to get their stuff in on time.
