If you had triploidy
my doc mentioned that some triploidy miscarriages are associated with a molar pregnancy. i dont think i should worry about it- im not having any bleeding or cramping (not that i have any idea if that's a symptom).
i have to go this week for another beta to make sure its 0.
anyone else deal with this?

Re: If you had triploidy
My second mc was due to this but I didn't have a molar pregnancy. I was monitored at my follow-up visit from the D&C with bloodwork to check my levels and a sono.
How are you dealing? I feel like when I had just started to try to heal and then the results of Triploidy came back and I felt like I was back to square one emotionally. Maybe because of knowing the sex (XXY) or the realization that I finally had some sort of an answer? Who knows with the crazy rollercoaster of a loss! Sorry to digress but figured that maybe you were feeling the same.
I've done a ton of reading up on this so feel free to let me know if you need anything. Hugs to you!

Re: If you had triploidy
Eh, I've been a mess ever since the m/c so there was no up and down lol!!
It did sting that the doc told me 69XXX so I assume it was a girl.
On the other hand, I dont think it was anything I could have done to cause it (not even my crappyy eggs from the PCOS). From the little I read up on it, it seems that either two sperms fertilized one egg or there are two other ways to cause triploidy (that I forgot- even though i only googled it last night!). It just sucksss because it only occurs in 1-3% of pregnancies. What bad luck!!

Yes, the good news is that there is nothing that you could have done to prevent it. But at the end of the day it all just suckss. Bad luck is right - if only we were that lucky with Lotto numbers! Hang in there. It's so cliché but time does seem to make it more bearable. It's just getting to a bearable point that is so hard!

Re: If you had triploidy
I went through the same thing, but my beta went down like it was supposed to so it was not molar. I thought knowing that there was a reason behind it, that was out of my control, would bring me peace of mind somehow but it didnt. Mine was a little girl too
