Ovulation issues
I do not ovulate very often but I do always get a period. I defitnetly ovulated this month (confirmed by a blood test). I am now 9 dpo. I am nausceous, dizzy and cannot stand the smell of certain foods. This has happened before. I wish I was pregnant but this has happened so many times before that I doubt it.
Has anyone ever experienced this? I can barely move today I feel so yucky?
TIA
I took a test at 7dpo and 8dpo but a BFN.
The symptons started at 6dpo.

Re: Ovulation issues
I dont understand how you can get a period, if you dont ovulate?
I have ovulation issues also, and when I dont ovulate, I dont get a period.
You may be getting spotting, but not a true period b/c you need the hormones from ovulation to build up the lining and bring on a period.
You would not see a + pg test until about 12 or 13 dpo. You are testing way too early.

Re: Ovulation issues
Sorry for the tmi
I call it a period because I have it for about a day. It is not heavy at all. It is more than spotting but way less than a full period. When I ovulate I do get my period for about 3-5 days but still not very heavy.
Too be honest I don't think I am pregnant. I just don't know why I get so sick everytime this happens. The doctors really can't explain it either.
The last time I got sick like this instead of my normal 28 day cycle it was 42 which was weird but never got a BFP.
I can dream but I don't want to dream too big.

You can get your period without ovulating. They call it anovoluatory cycles. I am bleeding right now, similar to a period, but I don't think I ovulated this month (didn't have the usual pms symptoms that I normally get).

Re: Ovulation issues
The RE called it anovulatory cycles but she did mention that it could be longer some months because when I only get AF for 2 or 3 hours it might just be spotting.
Thanks for all your info!

Re: Ovulation issues
i've also heard that the bleeding w/out ovulating can be due to breakthrough bleeding... have you tried doing BBT charting at all? this helped me understand my cycles and ovulation so much, the book "taking charge of your fertility" is awesome.

Re: Ovulation issues
I tried so hard to temp but I get up so many times at night that I 1. never know when to do it and 2. I forget not to move.
My doctor does blood work a few times a month. I did just get the CBEFM to try to see if that helped at all. I do have PCOS so I am not sure if it will work. At the RE this month they said I am not showing higher testosterone anymore.
Thanks for all your help

Yes I have heard of that. But I just thought that the bleeding was more spotting, not so much shedding of the lining, kwim?
