Ques: Fernwood Hotel in PA
Anyone ever stay at the Fernwood Hotel in Bushkill, PA?
How are the rooms? Is the hotel decent?
DH and I are thining about going for a long weekend in September. We just want a quiet weekend away. Nothing fancy. Maybe some hiking, biking, golf.

i went there when i was yonuger 2 times and really loved it, the only thing it is a family hotel so there r tons of kids running around in the summer..they have awesome after dinner shows as i recall and fun games... if u want lo-key for u and ur dh i stayed at the caesars pocoono palace and that is just couples

Thanks! Ceasars was an option for us too. We'll def look into it.
We were planning on going toward the end of September, when the kiddies would be back in school. But it would be over the weekend, so we might want to consider Ceasars too.

I stayed there when I was younger and was in the poconos this weekend and drove past it and I didnt like the look of it from the outside. We stayed at the shawnee inn which was nice but some of the amenities were closed due to the flooding.
