Mets are starting to pique my interest.
We are getting there! A win today would be a great boost going into the weekend. I watched the Nats/Rockies game after the Mets game. They looked flat.

The Mets starting pitching has been unbelieveable.
They literally keep the Mets in just about every game they play.
This is the type of starting pitching they were looking for in the second half of last season.
Expect the Mets to add a big bat at either 1b or 2b before the deadline.

Plus the bullpen hasn't been too shabby either.
Hernandez has been SOLID... and Looper is finally showing what he is capable of.
This guy Padilla doesn't look too bad either. They say he was a closer in the minor leagues.
If thats the case... we now have three "closer" mentalities in the bullpen (Hernandez/Looper/Padilla - all current or former closers).
Lets go Mets!
