Those who saw a high risk Dr for a multiple pregnancy and then had a single pregnancy
Did you go back to your high risk Dr? My twins are 1 1/2 and I saw Dr Kofinas through my whole pregnancy because it was twins. We found out today that we are expecting again. I am going to wait until Monday to call my OB. But my question is, do i go see Dr. Kofinas again? During my last pregnancy, i found out i have a form of Thrombophilia-sp?- (blood clotting disorder) but not a bad one. i had a cerclage due to an incompetent cervix, i imagine due to the twins, and just an overall rough pregnancy. Would you see your high risk again or do you think i should just go to my OB? I know my OB would say there is no need, but i want to do what I think is right. I'm a little torn. WWYD?

I have thrombophelia and saw a high risk dr my entire pregnancy.
They usually just like to monitor you more closely. They also put me on a baby asapirin, High dose folic acid and b complex regimen.
Toward the end of the pregnancy they like to monitor you with stress tests.
ETA: Just reread the title of your post. I was answering more on the thrombophelia point, not the mutiples.
Ive only been pregnant once (so far) and I knew I had thrombophelia when I got pregnant so I saw High Risk from 6 weeks.

Yes, I would start off with the high risk again. If the high risk dr thinks you can "graduate" to just a regular OB, I think they will let you know.
