summer school/summer jobs..
for long island
how can i go about applying for summer school?
my bf and i are buying a house soon, and i'd feel more comfortable if i was working this summer part time...

You can apply through Nassau BOCES. You fill out an application and they place you in a high needs district. The money is decent and you only work Monday-Thursday from 7- 11:30.

I think they start posting around march. You will have to fill out a Nassau BOCES application and then around May, they will find you a school. But if you don't see it posted, contact them. They have an entire department dedicated to summer school!
