Gotta get it together. How???
I need to lose some weight but I am so unmotivated. I make myself crazy counting points on weight watchers, to the point of obsessing. I did start zumba & I love it!!!! How do you ladies drop the pounds? Any tips would be appreciated.

Check out the 17 day diet - it gave me the kick start I needed. I lost 8lbs in 17 days and even though the holidays are in sight I really believe I will keep on top of this and get back on this diet after the holidays are over. The only way I get motivated is when I see the scales move down and this did it for me.

I started running to lose weight and now almost 3 years later I'm still addicted! I lost 20 pounds the first 6 months that I started.

Same boat as u. Here are my tips: Just do it. Don't bother procrastinating. You know what u want to do , so do it. Get it done. Once u do, u feel u started a goal finally and u get invigorated to do more. Reward yourself but not with food. Get rid of all bad food in your house and replace with healthy foods and snacks. I keep in mind ( when I get weak) that no food tastes as food As being fit and healthy. Once u get it to a food groove and meet a goal, a big one,, then treat yourself to a treat in a portion controlled size. You can do this. U have to believe in yourself. People forget that it's easy to lose weight and work out and eat right The hard part is getting started and maintaining it. You can do it!! :)

try tracking on myfitnesspal.com. its a great way to monitor what youre eating and track your progress. i started in september and ive lost 18 lbs. best of all, it is an app u can use on your phone so u can track your calories wherever you are, and its free!

i try to Zumba at least 6 days a week... along with maybe an hour or two of cardio and/or weights.
i watch what i eat, but i dont count/measure or obsess...
ive lost 25 lbs and i dont even know how many inches (since July 2011)

It really begins with tracking your intake. Once you acknowledge everything you are eating and becoming more aware, that is a great start. As long as you "want" it and feel motivated, you can achieve your goals. Everyone is different so to realize that counting points is not your thing is perfectly fine. What works for one may not work for another. Take it one day at a time, even start with one healthy meal. Good luck!
