Handmade Holiday Gifts?

Is anyone giving out handmade holiday gifts this year?

I have made several hats, and have a few infinity scarves to finish up also for the holidays. They will go to my nieces, Mom and sisters.

Just wondering if anyone is making anything handmade. I think it can be a special gift! Not many people do it anymore!

i want to make an infinity scarf/mobius. which pattern did you use?

I am not following a pattern. Just crocheted a big loop of SCs (about 10 inches around I'd say), then did a row of DCs, now I'm doing front/back DCs and I'll finish up with another row of DCs and then SCs.

I did the front/back DCs because they have a bit more "stretch" to them and I didn't want it to be tight.

I am not good at following patterns. And I can't do many fancy stitches. I'd love to be able to make a "lacey" or "shell" crocheted infinity... I am taking a class at the library starting in Jan so maybe that will be one thing I will ask them to help me with.

Here is the picture of the finished infinity scarf. I made this one for my daughter Emily to go with a hat that I made her -- black hat with turquoise flower on it.

It is so soft and comfy! I am going to have to make one for myself!

Sure did!! I made a couple of cowls, some fingerless gloves / wristlet, hats and scarves! (all crochet)

I have posted some pics and will post more after christmas. Silly me wrapped some of them up before taking a pic! Others are posted on this board in threads by me.
