Play gyms with 4 month old twins?

Is this even feasible? Has anyone joined a gymboree / little gym type of place with their LOs? What age do you think would be better? Maybe mine are too young, but I think it may be easier now than when they are mobile? Not sure about the logistics and if they would even get anything out of it.

Anyone want to share their experience ?

Last question, what do you do, when one has a complete meltdown??!Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Play gyms with 4 month old twins?

I would love to know the answer to this as well!!! I would love to join something with the triplets, but I am thinking any instructor/teacher would NOT enjoy having me in the class, especially if its only me with the 3!!!
Lets join together, 5 children, 2 adults...thats a 2.5 ratio! haha!!

Is there any class specifically for multiples, with maybe extra helpers and assistants in the room?

Re: Play gyms with 4 month old twins?

I was taking the girls around 9 months old to the library programs by myself. It was not difficult at all. The hard part was getting out of the house. I did My Gym by myself around 18 months and Gymboree when they were around two. My husband did go sometimes. YOu just have to go into it knowing that one will probably want to wander but everything is in an enclosed area.

Or you could go with "spirited" Chat Icon it's a good thing he's a cutie pie!

Someone needs to create one of these classes for multiples. I'd give it a try eventually.

Re: Play gyms with 4 month old twins?

I tried the Gymboree halloween party and had my mom there to help with my LO's, they were 10 mos old at the time, and I couldn't imagine being there by myself. They were all over the place! Maybe when they get older I would go again but I will probably wait a year before going back. If you find anything for multiples please post Chat Icon

I have one year old twins and go to Gymboree. Not gonna lie its rough! The teacher helps and so do some of the other parents. I am sure to thank them profusely. By the end of the class I am drenched in sweat! But its worth it to get my babies out for some interaction.
