Nevermind - it made me uninstall and reinstall it all and it is working fine now.

Okay I downloaded the adobe digital reader. I plugged in the nook and it appears in the left column and I was able to drag the books into the nook folder- they appear on my nook under documents but when I try to open them they say user not activated. I had done the activation - I registered it too - I have no problem getting anything from the nook b&n site - just opening these books. I have no problem opening them in the adobe digital reader on my mac - just can't open them on the nook.
