I need a little help...

I need a new vet, for a multitude of reasons. Time is of the essence, as Bruno is ready to be fixed , since he has started to lift his leg & mark (although I am still nervous about the anesthesia since he is still not yet 5 lbs.).

Does anyone know about the following doctors?
-Dr. Bob Corona in West Babylon
- The Animal Wellness center in Huntington
- Dr. Peter Lutgen
- South Shore Animal Hospital of Wantagh.

These have all been recommended to me, but I'd like some further opinions if you can give them.

I use Fort Hill in Huntington. I don't have the vet's name with me but I like the group and they have great hours.

If you would be willing to travel east, we LOVE Dr. Star at St. James Animal Hospital

I go to VCA in West Babylon and love them and have been using them for 15 years. All the doctors are excellent and are very generous with their help when something is to costly.

We have been using Dr Lutgen for our 5 cats and couldn't be happier. He and his staff are fabulous!!

He's actually about 40 minutes away from us and we wouldn't think of switching to someone closer - he's that good.

I LOVED my vet in Mineola - Dr. Zimits in the Mineola Animal Center.
She is the only vert that has ever been able to examine Gunnar....and she treated him like he was an angel as he hissed and growled at her.

Where do you live?

I absolutely adore my old vet -
Dr. Zinnanti in Bethpage (Page Community Veterinary). I would still be using him if he weren't so far away, he truly loves the animals and never, ever overcharged me for anything.

Now we use -
Hawkin's Animal Hospital in Ronkonkoma. We've been using them for a year now and they seem okay. When Misty ate the Gorilla Glue, they sent me to a great emergency animal hospital.

I loved our old vet in Queens. We had to see a special vet (exotics) because we have ferrets and the vet was wonderful. She treated our furbabies as if they were her own. She was so gentle and kind.

our vet in FL is amazing. When our little mushy was dying on the operating table the vet gave him CPR. We thought our vet here would only see exotics but he sees both the ferrets and simba. I wish our vet in FL was a winter bird and was up in NY for you, he is absolutely an angel of doctors for pets.
