I did not know this.... FYI
Did you know that UTI's are very common while TTC? I thought if you went to the bathroom after BD you are okay..... I just found out from the ob/gyn.

I use to suffer from these A LOT!! I agree using the bathroom afterwards is very helpful...even before too.
Cranberry Juice will help! 
ETA: knock on wood (knock,knock) I haven suffered any in awhile. they are painful.

I used to get up and pee, but now that we are TTC I worry that it will all come gushing out if I get up. Now I just lay there and risk a UTI for the sake of motherhood.

I go to the bathroom before and after, I am not risking getting UTI, it was too damn painful last time!!! and yes I drink cranberry juice or if I dont have the juice then I take cranberry pills...

My sister told me she is the queen of UTI's. She drinks pure cranberry juice from Trader Joe's.She calls it her "post coital cocktail" LOL. I bought it yesterday and mix it with light cranberry juice. It gives it at least some sweetness.
