Pure Food & Wine - for all the super-clean eaters out there..or anyone who likes a unique culinary experience.
Just wanted to share this restaurant in NYC.
It has only locally-grown organic ingrediants and is 100% raw vegan.
While that sounds a bit gross, it's not.
I've had a buritto platter there, made soley of sweet corn that was grinded into a wrap form, fresh salsa, 'sour cream' made out of cashews and coconuts, avocado, and a 'meat' that really was grinded nuts soaked in spices.
It was so delicious, and obviously, very healthy and guilt-free.
I've also had the desserts, and they were to die for.

it's so nice in the spring. u can dine outdoors in a garden setting in the back.
i always leave feeling full (because it's unprocessed food) and energized.

I haven't tried the lasagna. I may go there on Friday. Have u ever went to her shop around the corner that sells her goodies and stuff? I bought a Raw Smore's Cookie that was simply divine. It's called One Lucky Duck.
