This news story makes me sad and scared...

The reactions to this on Facebook had me so upset. The way they talked about the Mother and how it was all her fault, and defintly abuse

I think , wow...this could be my kid at 17. I am scared this could happen to us, and sad that this childs not getting the help needed, or that the media is simply painting it in such a light to profit off it.

17 yr old only eats Chicken nuggets , is this Child Abuse?

I read this the other day!
It's pretty much made me swear to never give my kids McDonald's nuggets ever again!

Donna, I read it too & thought the same. Honestly I'd be thrilled if my son would eat chicken. For months he ate nothing but vanilla cake all day, every day. I saw the looks people gave me and heard the comments, but people don't know.

That thread about 7-11 slurpees made me laugh too as at one point I could be heard saying,

"Finish your cake or you won't get your shake."

There is an announcer on the golf channel that said he only eats 3 things. I can't remember what they were, but one was chicken nuggets and he has to be in his 40s+

I every day that DS will expand his menu!

I almost did cartwheels the other night when he ate fish sticks!

"Mommy, this chicken is so good" (I made it with chicken nuggets).

Should I be lying to him, no way, but, it worked. DH and I will tell him soon what it really is.

Breakfast is not really a problem, but, lunch and dinner are the same thing over and over.
