Honda CRV commercial..Do you want to get married?

Ok...so this commercial annoys me to no end...how does getting married put your dreams on hold? More of my dreams came true AFTER meeting my DH than before...mostly because he supported me in my efforts and kicked me in the a$$ when i needed it (and not that they can't come true without the guy either)...now if the guy asked "Do you want to have a baby?" I think the commercial would work!!! is it just me???

I agree with ya, The same thought crossed my mind..

DH says most people seem to "settle" after marriage and thus put their dreams on hold..its easy to get comfortable when you fall into a routine in married life...I do agree that sometimes I just dont want to hang out with my single friends because their whole mantra is motivated toward finding a partner (going to bars to pick up ppl, joining online dating sites,etc)...

But the commercial really makes a lot of assumptions that arent true for many people...

I really dislike that commercial...the assumption that it implies is disrespectful.

I agree with you, but I think there is a baby version too, and I am sure a lot of parents would object it it for thw same reasons.
