Heartbeat
I didn't want to post until after my first sono, but today at 7weeks 1day I heard and saw a heart beat!
Everything is measuring exactly 7weeks and 1 day and looks great. We transfered 2 but I am pregnant with a singleton.
My right ovary is very swollen and the left a bit which is probably why I am sooo bloated and have to use a paper clip to hold up my pants.
A side note, I am going to New Hope, but being monitored at RSoNY. Today after the sono they said Dr. San Roman wanted to speak with me, I never met him before, but he was so freaking nice!!! He even waived my co-pays until I move to my regular obgyn, and they are $50 per time.
I think I go back to see him next Friday so I get to see the baby again at 8 weeks 2 days.
ETA - Heartbeat was 140, what is the thinking with heartbeat and gender?

how exciting!! they say anything lower than 140 is boy and higher than 140 is girl but who knows!

Congrats!!! So exciting!
My LO's HB went to a high of 175 or so at about 11 weeks, was 136 at 17 weeks, and 143 or so at 20 weeks...so I don't really buy the hb and gender theory!

My DD was always in the 135 range and she was a girl....
no truth to number and gender...

Congratulations.. Isnt it amazing?? Dont go by heartbeat- it speeds up adn slows down based on how far along you are.. Awesome tohear all was well..

Congrats!!! With my dd and this pregnancy (girl) hb were always over 160. I heard under 150 means boy but I wouldn't go by that!

Thanks to everyone, I am excited, but still feel like I am in the waiting game. What makes it easier is that I get to have weekly sonos until I am out of the 1st trimester.
Once I have cleared that I feel like it will really be real.
