Dog Park
Do people still go to the dog park in the winter?? I'm thinkig of taking my dogs this weekend cuz it will be a little warmer... Will other people even be there do u think?

we used to go sometimes in the winter but our dogs are both under 20 lbs and I've noticed the small dog park is almost always deserted. However, I always see at least a few dogs in the big dog section.

I usually take my little dog to Blyndenburg in the winter on weekends..on a nice day I've def seen a lot of people with dogs

This winter we've taken Ozzie a bunch, the weather is so mild so I don't mind and he loves to run off leash.

We use to go to Blydenburg all the time but stopped going because we found that sometimes some people just don't know how to control their dogs.
We now go to the dog park in Sayville. Its a small one but Toby love it there. And the dogs there are awesome. We try to go everyday during the week at 4 and there is always a bunch of us there.

Does blydenburg have a separate area for small dogs? I have a puppy and I'm not sure how she will be with big dogs.

We take them up every weekend year round... there are usually people there, even in the coldest of days...
and DH and I are the crazy ones driving up in snow storms cause the kids love to run in the snow!

It's on Cherry Avenue right down the street from Sayville High School

we went last week!! The dogs loved it!!! It was the puppies first time so she was a little scared at first... but we plan on going again this weekend so she is used to it!!
