LDrinkH20 - How is your training?
Just curious how your training is coming - can't imagine you making further progress from your last set of pics but I think you are close to your first competition? Good luck and keep us posted. You motivate me everyday!!

Aww! You are awesome!
Thank you so much for your kind words and for checking in!
My training is going well! I have 5 1/2 weeks left! I am just about at my contest weight so as soon as I hit that, I will be increasing my food to get my metabolism cranking for peak week!
I actually just back from a competition prep camp this past weekend in Indiana. There were only 18 competitors allowed to register so it was a very close knit and intimate experience. I was able to attend nutrition and mindset lectures, posing classes and have one on one and group training sessions with professional bodybuilders. I met some of the most incredible and inspiring people and got my a ss handed to me but loved every second of it! I need to make fitness a part time career!
I haven't taken progress pics in almost 2 weeks but my coahc seemed happy with the last ones. I am waiting to hear back from him since I saw him in person to find out what he is thinking!
Thank you so much for checking in!

So glad to hear that its going well! You have to post pics when you are competition ready And clearly I know nothing about nutrition b/c I can't fathom increasing calories to rev metabolism.

It seems counterintuitive. But, I am already eating about 100-200 calories a day more than I was this summer. If you increase carbohydtrates SLOWLY ever couple of weeks, your metabolism speeds up because carbs are thermogenic. I had to drop my carbs a tiny bit recently, but i added protein and fat so my calorires are the same. Soon, I should be able to add some carbs back in. It's so interesting! I feel like a science experiment! lol
