Anyone have recommendations for pre-schools for a 4-year old in Smithtown/Setauket/Stony Brook areas?

Briarwood Montessori on Stony Brook Rd. I can't even begin to tell you how much i love this school!

Check the Rinx...it's in Hauppauge on the Smithtown border. Great pre-k. They do skating, computers, movement and dance, etc.

DS went to Stony Brook Child Care for Pre-K and we loved it there. It is on Stony Brook University campus but you don't have to be associated with Stony Brook Univ to send your kid there. It is the most amazing program-we loved the teachers, their philosophy and their facilities! A fair warning-it is not a curriculum driven program like other Pre-K's. But DS learned a whole lot through their "Play is Child's work" philosophy. FM me if you want more details.

We love Harbor Country in St. James. The Pre-K program is fantastic and the teachers amazing.
