Twins and Sonos
How often do you have a sono with twins? I know with DD I had sonos at weeks 8, 12, 20 and 36. Is it more often with twins?

yes you have them more frequently with twins. i had sonos like every 2 weeks.

I had an uncomplicated pregnancy and had a sono every 4 weeks (except at the very end had them weekly).

I think the biggest gap I had was between 16 and 20 weeks. Not all were "scheduled" sonos. My ob use the sono machine instead of the doppler to find their heart beats etc. either way I got to see them all the time

I had a complicated pregnancy from 16 weeks on, I'm pretty sure I had a sono every week starting then.

I am almost 31 weeks. I've been having sonos every 2-3 weeks.

wow - thats crazy!! but kind of exciting to hear..
i went for my first OB visit and will be back in 2 weeks for sono and check up.. he said i would go every 2 weeks, but didnt mention a sono - i kind of hope so

I had sonos every 4 weeks until I was 32 weeks, then it was every 2 weeks after that

I had a pretty complicated pregnancy...I had a sono almost every week starting at 10 weeks.

I have a normal pregnancy and expecting twins due in June. Every single time I see my doctor I have a sono. They say it's to check the heartbeat. I have SO MANY SONO pics!

I was seen every 2 weeks by my regular OB but then I had to get sonos done weekly by the high risk doctor because I was being monitored for TTTS. I don't know whether you have or identical or fraternal, but if you have identical, you should get sonos at least every 2 weeks since there's some risk with the babies sharing a placenta.

The first couple of months I had a sono every other week. And then at some point it switched to weekly. I think around 20 weeks.
