Job in Advertising (Art)

I am stuck in the same job I've had for the past 7 years and I need to get out. Is there anyone out there that can help me make a move?

I work in NYC as a senior art director in a pharma agency. I would love to get out of pharma and I would love to work on LI. The commute is getting old.

I've put out a few feelers to the few agencies I could find by googling Long Island ad agencies but no one is hiring.

I've accepted I'll probably have to stay in NYC, so now it's just about making some connections and getting the heck out of where I am now.

If anyone knows anyone, or can help me make a move, I would be forever in your debt. Thanks so much!!!

Have you tried using a head hunter? My sister is an art director and she almost always gets her jobs through a head hunter

I don't have one yet. It's been years since I've looked for a job. I need to find one.
