No crate for Shamrock today *update
My DH called me a little while a go and told me HE decided to not to put Shammy in the crate today. Yes we have been discussing this but I didnt realize that we made a decision to do so.
Anyway... he gave him the kitchen and the hallway- blocked off the dining room, living room and have the bedroom doors closed. Since DH didnt think this through before he did it, he left the bathroom door open and no toys for him to play with during the day. So I am expecting toilet paper ripped up around the house, towels played with and God know what else.
I am a nervous wreck.

**I'm in shock! DH just called and said he was a perfect puppy. No TP ripped up- didnt mess up the house. Was the perfect little angel.

Ughhhhhhh, hopefully he'll be a good boy. If not, make DH clean up the mess! 
He'll be okay though, he'll probably be proud to show you his hard work of ripping up toilet paper all day long when you get home!

Jill- I hope he will be good. Thank goodness DH gets home before me cause if I got home first and found a mess I wouldnt flip on shammy- it would be DH. lol

Try not to stress over it...most dogs will spend time in the crate even if it is left open...it is what they are use to. I hope Shamrock behaves and if not your DH will have to deal with the fall out from his choice to give Shamrock a crate free day.

That was around when I stopped using a crate for my female....my male I stopped a bit after a year b/c he is a nut. LOL
