How can i spice up...
...White cake mix?? DH isn't into berries, so ading those to the mix is out...

do you want to put something in the cake mix before you bake it?
or
put something inbetween the cake layers after it is cooked?
eta--if you are putting soemthing in the mix, you can do nuts, choclate chips, peanut butter chips, colored sprinkles/chips, toffee bits

Add some vanilla or almond extract. Or you could use some vanilla pudding in the mix or nuts. Check out the Cake Mix Doctor. That book gives you tons of ways to jazz up cake mix recipes.
