how many bags of chocolate melts do I need...
to cover approx 60 cake balls?
2? 3 bags?

AND...
Do you think they will last 1 month if I keep the bags closed...They are on sale at michaels ($1.99) and i need a bunch for my DDs christening on May 6th

I'd go for 3 bags to be safe. And yes, they'll be fine for a month.
