Anyone familiar with 1199 health insurance?

I really need help if you are - we are looking for a psychologist/social worker for my stepdaughter but are having trouble finding someone who takes this insurance.

DH is going in circles looking for someone - they either don't take the insurance, or are not taking new clients.

We are in a crisis situation and really need someone ASAP for her - please FM me if any of you can help!!!

I'm not sure if this helps but I had trouble finding a specialist who took our plan (not a 1199). After calling a number of them out of the plan book, I googled the specialty name & the health plan name. Lot of hits.

I know you're looking for recommendations but I found a lot of doctors advertise that they take it but are not listed in the plan book or website.

I used to work at Hillside Hospital and the insurance they provided was 1199 so I know they accept it there. Lots of out patient doctors affiliated.
