Does anyone know a lot about Licenses - I need help!
I am sooo confused and no one seems to be able to help me. Ive contacted the UFT, Court Street, my payroll sec. and the HR person for our district - no one can give me an aswer!
Ill try to make this long story short...
Filed for an extension 2 years ago to complete my masters it will exp in August.
I have completed my masters, passed teh CST, filed on the teach website and received two certificates associated with my masters.
I also filed for my salary differential and it was granted. BUT I keep getting letters saying if I dont take the proper steps I will be terminated. I called the number on that letter they told me I just had to have my licenses verified, did that and got another letter 2 weeks later. When I called court street the woman was EXTREMELY nasty and would not answer my questions, specifically by telling me what was missing.
I really hope someone can help! Thanks

Just keep all of your information as up to date as possible and if you've done everything I can't see them giving you a problem. Put dates on everything have them notarized if possible. I think it's a big fat shit show up there and they are backed up. NO excuse for her nastiness.

I have a folder that is like 2 inches thick - everything is dated with names of people, if I spoke to someone most times i get automated systems. The woman I spoke to at court street was unbelievably rude! She told me the UFT has no clue what they are doing and I shouldnt listen to them but then she could not give me an answer as to what still needed to be done. I think my best bet is to go inperson - but Im sure that will be a Sh!t show as well

I had a problem as well they said that I was missing a workshop. The state never told me this. The UFT called the state. Speak to Nadine Reiss she's very nice from the UFT 718-852-4900.
