Dentist Today

Took Mason to his first Dentist appt. He did ok. Wasn't sure what to expect and I have been delaying this for a while.
He turns 3 next month so I knew I had to go soon.

I liked that he sat on my lap facing me and his legs around me. THe Dentist had him lean back on him. Talked to him and me the whole time trying to be cute, but of course DS wasn't listening b/c the crying was getting louder.
I did find it interesting that he was checking his pulse and said he's ok and his HR was still normal.
He told me that Pediasure is really bad for his teeth so to have him rinse out with water after. I already water it down, but figured with the sugar.
ALso, he mentioned at over the counter Vit w/ Flouride that's even better than the poly-vitamins he takes.
I'll have to ask him or call, but anyone else have a suggestion? Has to be liquid.
Also, I have to change his toothpaste to the real stuff and just a small amt. He's not ready to spit.
I don't know how I'll do this b/c he fights a lot of stuff by the mouth
Also, have to make an appt for a cleaning. Fun, Fun!
Didn't help that he was asking for the Pacifier while we were there too.
