Question?!?

Hey Girls-

Did any of you do something to remember the baby? I just had my MC and my D&C was today, but I feel like I want to do something in memory of the baby.


I don't really know what to do?!? Any ideas?!

When my sister had her MC she bought herself a ornament for her Christmas tree.

I have had many losses, but did the most to acknowledge my first one. We lost him at 17wks, so originally I had asked for a footprint, but unfortunately they couldn't do it.

I got a brick made for him at the Angel of Hope monument at Eisenhower Park. It says his name, a message, and the date we lost him.

I also have a ring with the birth stone of when he was due (January). It's a David Yurman petite albion ring with a garnet.

During the holiday season, we donate clothes/toys to a baby who is the age of where our babies would have been. This is a tradition we plan on keeping up, while tracking their ages from year to year. At least that way, in my mind, someone "benefits" from my losses... because in my mind, the reason we had those losses makes no sense at all.
