Did you guys run today or yesterday?
I did the Queens 10K this morning and it was BRUTAL. This was my worst timed 10K ever but I'm pretty okay with it.

I ran yesterday and only did 2 miles before I said enough was enough! Today I ran indoors  .

I ran 5 miles last night but I didn't go until after sunset & I ran at the beach where there was a good breeze going. I can't run during the daytime in the summer.

Can't run in this heat. I've been running at the gym, but I have a hard time running for too long on the treadmill.

I also ran the Queens 10k. I slowed my pace down a lot from the start and it wasn't so bad. Looks like I'll be up early to run all week!

I ran Saturday and Sunday and I will run today. In the extreme heat, I try to go really early or later in the evening AND I run trails instead of the roads because the shade helps a lot.

it was crazy hot - I am back in NY now- I think I am going to hit the gym tonight

Do you guys find it buggy in the evening?
I like to run outside and dont mind sweating and the heat but the BUGS are the worst! I ate some during last run and they swarm my face..ugggg how do you guys deal? bug spray?

The bugs are definitely annoying if I run in the evening. They always seem to aim for my eyes. I try to go in the morning when possible since I have no solution for the bugs.

A bug flew right in my mouth tonite running  And the other morning I looked like a car windshield with them all stuck dead to my neck and arms.
Maybe that's how the idea of breathe in thru your nose comes from

I did a 5k race on saturday and it was the hottest temp I've ever raced in! I was dumping the water over my head lol. And it was my slowest time ever!
