hello designers out there- quick question
hi there- we are re doing our entire house-literally, we are down to sheetrock- and are making some decisions that we thought would be easy but are obviously not
we have white interior doors and will have white trim, moldings, etc.
what color doorknobs and hinges would look best?
hubby likes silver/brushed nickel i like brushed bronze
we have a split level home, so the interior doors and closets etc are all upstairs, away from the silver of the stainless appliances in the kitchen- in case that matters...

hello designers out there- quick question
I am not a professional interior designer, but my business takes me into hundreds of homes. In this case, it's more of a personal choice; there is no right or wrong. My feeling is that the brushed nickel is more of a contemporary look, while the brushed bronze is more traditional or eclectic. Look around your home and see what your style reflects. How about your lighting fixtures, picture frames, mirrors? Do you lean more toward nickel or bronze?
If you don't want ordinary paint or wallpaper to finish the look of your new walls, please take a look at my website to get an idea of other creative options.
Good luck with your renovations,
