girls night
what would you serve for a girls night/
looking to have appetizers, drinks and dessert.
anyone willing to help with a menu?
i was definitely thinking of making a pitcher of cosmos, a pitcher of sangria and a pitcher of margaritas. thats as far as ive gotten. tia!

Well it sounds as if you have the drinks covered. I was going to suggest a white wine sangria though, it goes so good with appetizers and desserts!
For appetizers what about:
-bruschetta (tomato, mozz and basil with balsamic)
-olive tapenade with crackers or soft slices of bread to spread it on
-cheese platter
-fresh vegetables with a dip
-buffalo chicken wing dip with chips
-stuffed mushrooms
-crab salad in puff pastry cups
-nachos with guacamole and salsa
-mini meatballs with a dipping sauce
for desserts what route were you thinking? a mix of different things? or did you want to stick with some sort of theme? like cupcake based desserts? or cookies and brownie type stuff? or only fruit based? or chocolate only?
What about:
-chocolate chip cookies
-brownies
-black and white cookies
-mini cupcakes with frosting
-chocolate pudding pie with whipped cream
-fresh fruit salad or platter
-chocolate covered fruit platter

oo good idea! my friends and i have a fondue party every year around the holidays but this would be another good time to do it! thanks!

heres what i came up with now..
apps:
baked brie and crackers
cheese and grape platter
hummus platter with olives, feta, veggies and pita
cucumber bites
hot spinach artichoke dip
dessert:
mini cupcakes
fruit
slutty brownies (found on pinterest and they are TO DIE FOR)
chocolate fondue with fruit, marshmallows, rice crispy treats, pound cake, pretzels
any other ideas?
anything i should add/take away?
