Wow...I did it.
I know I've mentioned it often over the past school year, but I just sent my principal my letter of resignation.
There's no going back now.  
Regardless, I still consider myself a teacher at heart and I hope you all keep fighting the good fight! Enjoy the rest of your summer vacations- you deserve it!

Thank you...as for living in a box...well, that remains to be seen. Now that I've actually done it, I am waayy more nervous now!
