Would you be concerned?

Hello All Chat Icon

I am just curious. Last month AF was only here for 3 days (this has sometimes happen in the past). But this past AF was here for only 1 1/2 days - then poof. The second half of the day was a little spotting, but that was it. I thought it was a little strange. Should I be concerned? Would you call the doctor and speak to them about it?

Thanks Girls!

I would take a PG test.

You could be pg! Some girls get a very faint/quick AF or what they think is AF and they are really pg.

good luck!

Re: Would you be concerned?

that happened to me.....i thought i just had a short af.

then my opk sticks showed that i was o'ing on day 9 of the following cycle - i said "this can't be"....so for the heck of it, i tested and got a BFP.

it is rare but definitely possible to get af and still be pg.

Call your Dr. They usually have a nurse you can speak to if the doctor isn't available. Tell them what is going on and what you should do. Take another HPT too. It is very possible to be pregnant and still get BFN for a few weeks. Good luck!

Re: Would you be concerned?

When my thyroid wasn't treated....my Af was very short. I was diagosed with hyperthyroidism (graves disease). I would take another hpt, but usually if your temps have dropped, it's hard to sustain pregnancy......

Re: Would you be concerned?

I tested - BFN.
Now, I am concerned that AF was only here for such a short time. I think I might call my doctor today
