lovenox/heparin and the baby kicking
I have not been keeping up with my meds at all this month but the past few times while I'm doing the heparin shot the baby starts kicking. Do you think he can feel something? It happens right next to the injection site. The only thing I can think of otherwise is that he's reacting to me icing the site?

hmmm u got me thinking now lol
i was assured many times that the meds r fine and they cannot feel anything
maybe they can just feel the pressure on the belly or can feel u r on it,like someone touching
what do i know i do not even feel my babies,i just have 2 heads in my ribs

I bet they can feel the pressure. We were asking the sono tech about this- if the baby can feel them pushing and they said they can feel the pressure.

towards the end of my pregnancy i injected closer to my hips because i just could not do it in the rounder part of my belly. once in the hospital i was switched to heparin and they always injected it in my thigh. i wish they would've just let me do the injection cause they bruised the crap out of me!!
that being said i really doubt the baby can feel anything. they can feel pressure but it has to be a good amount of pressure and the lovenox/heparin needles are pretty small. the baby is very well protected in there.

The babies always kicked around when I did the shots maybe they sense something but it's fine my babies are 7 mth old happy crazy babies
