Share pictures of your rooms, specifically bulletin boards
My classroom is the gymnasium, but Im always looking for ideas. I have 5 bulletin boards to cover. Two of them are in the hallway. Im also trying to include more math and more info about bullying this year. I finally found a very large multiplication table. I had previously made a huge one but the Lacrosse team tore it down after school. Im going to do a bulletin board about being an upstander and not a bystander. Got that from our DASA meeting yesterday. Im going to make a bar graph with which countries earned the most gold medals, a photo board with children participating in a summer olympic sport. I dont want my tack strip to be empty so Im going to give them an optional homework. Draw a picture and tell us what olympic sport youd like to participate in. I know Im a chatter box. Any ideas youre excited about this year. Any pics you want to share? Id love to see them!

Re: Share pictures of your rooms, specifically bulletin boards
Our PE teacher has students track their after school exercise. For every 20 minutes (I think) he gives them one mile. The goal of the class is to get from the school to the West Coast on a big US map. He uses different colors to represent each class.
ETA: I think he actually uses google maps to drag the route on a major highway and plot them in the right spot.

Re: Share pictures of your rooms, specifically bulletin boards
A few years back I did pictures of past presidents with a picture of one of my students participating in that president''s favorite sport next to it.
I have done "Fall Into Fitness" as the title and you could either take pictures of what they are doing in class or you could have students bring in photos or draw pictures of fall sports they are doing at home.
