Behavior management system?

I'm taking it's time to change mine up..can you share yours? I teach second grade..Tia!

I use this, and then I have a sheet I send home where they circle how many thumbs up they got for the day. My school uses a point system, but it doesn't work with my crew and when I switched to something visual, it worked better. Its laminated and they bring it with them all day.

I like that! Would you make like 20 some odd of these or is this more for kids who need this kind of thing?

I teach 8:1:1 so I do it with all of them and I tally the points at the end of the day, and by the end of the week, if they have a certain amount, I do "clubs" with them like movies, etc. The kids who don't make it go to the counselors office for the period with some worksheets. Its a pretty good incentive, and they work for it. I would say you could do it for the whole class, but it is time consuming because you need about 5 minutes at the end of every period to do it.
